PRIO has been updated with new substances listed in Annex VI to CLP Regulation in ATP 17

On 28 May, the European Commission approved the 17th Technical Adaptation (ATP 17) of the CLP Regulation. The amendment in ATP 17 includes adding additional substances with harmonised classification to the list in Annex VI to the CLP Regulation. For some substances listed in Appendix Vl, ATP 17 results in revised classification and the removal of one substance. For substances listed in Annex VI to the CLP Regulation, binding classification and labelling requirements apply. With the support of the amendment in ATP 17, an additional 24 substances which meet the PRIO criteria for phase-out substances or priority risk-reduction substances were added to the PRIO-database.
