Rules applicable in Sweden only

Some rules within the sphere of responsibility of the Swedish Chemicals Agency are not based on EU harmonised regulations or directives, but are specifically Swedish rules. Other EU countries may not have any corresponding rules.

Voluntary agreements in Sweden

In some cases Swedish industrial organisations has agreed on voluntary commitments that goes beyond regulatory requirements. If you are a manufacturer, importer or retailer of chemical products we recommend that you follow these voluntary agreements.
