The Swedish Chemicals Agency´s enforcement guidance pages have been made available for those managing enforcement in municpalities and county administrative boards.
In addition, fact sheets and brochures giving written guidance have been published. KemI´s inspectors carry out national enforcement projects in co-operation with municipalities and county administrative boards, as well as participating in seminars and university courses.
Activities for guidance to municipalities and county administration boards have been planned for 2013-2015.
Connection between the Environmental Code, REACH and water management
The Swedish Chemicals Agency and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency have prepared a joint presentation package aimed at the enforcement bodies on the connection between the Environmental Code, the REACH Regulation and water management. One important point here is to stress that several pieces of legislation may be applicable in a given enforcement situation. It is therefore essential to be aware of the connections.
