Stakeholder consultation meeting about the preparation of a restriction on lead in articles for consumer use
The Swedish Chemicals Agency (Kemikalieinspektionen) is pleased to invite you to a meeting for stakeholder consultation about the preparation of a restriction on lead in articles intended for consumer use.
The Swedish Chemicals Agency has registered its intention to work for further restrictions of the use of lead in articles intended for consumer use to the European Chemicals Agency, ECHA.
The aim of the meeting is to
- Inform stakeholders about the intentions of the restriction.
- Discuss data gaps concerning the occurrence of lead and lead compounds in articles intended for consumer use.
- Collect information regarding innovations and available alternatives to lead and lead compounds in articles intended for consumer use.
- Exchange views on the working process.
